to your definition: well, red and also pink used to be manly colours. i remember a picture from the 17th century whrer a man wore a baby pink garment.
and the female colour was blue. just look at old christians paintings, jesus always wears red, and his mother, mary always wears blue.
i do love pink. since almost a year i'm having pink hair and also a lot of my clothes are pink
