I think a lot of artists get favs from followers who will fav everything just because the artist is considered 'cool' by many. Some don't deserved to be faved.
I love a lot of your work but not all of it so i don't fav it all. I think favs should actually mean something other than just following what others seem to think. But no, i don't understand though why some get 1000+ and then also receive nasty comments.

hmm.. schwer zu erklären.. ich glaube es fing vor einigen wochen an, als =Sugargrl14 bilder von augen die stark manipuliert waten in ihre gallery gestellt hat und sie seither auf jedes ihrer bilder, egal ob augen oder blumen, egal ob gut oder total schlecht meist 500 - 2,500 favorites bekommt.

das problem ist, dass eben leute (und anscheinend viele) die sachen zu ihren favourites added aber sie dannbeschimpfen was sie denn für blöde bilder macht.

ich kann nachvollziehen dass sowas ungerecht ist, wenn man für irgendein komisches ungutes bid von einer blume 700 oder mehr favs bekommt und andere gute künstler keine aufmerksamkeit, aber irgendwer hier muss doch favs geben und sie mögen..

wenn du mal ihr journal liest, wirst du sehn, dass sie auch geschrieben hat, sie will gra nicht so popular sein ..

I don't understand why some of her work, and now I really don't want to say anything bad about her, say of a plain flower or scenery gets 700+ favs ... this is not really deserved. but deserved sounds very personally negative, this is why i don't like using the term so much

but i totally see what you mean.
a fav should be something special, and even if i follow someones wartwork, and i like it and comment i don't fav everything.

this is just such a tricky situation, because I came to think that this is how DA works nowaday.

someone is 'cool' and gets everything faved a billion times. quality is not important too much
